ANALOG TYPOLOGIEs
Inés Vachez (Guadalajara, 1994) is an urban researcher, writer, and photographer. She holds a master's degree in Urban Typologies from the Technical University of Berlin and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from ITESO. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Social and Political Anthropology at FLACSO Argentina. Her research projects, lectures, exhibitions, and urban interventions focus on topics such as gender and public space, forced migration, gentrification, and collective memory.
In 2021, she founded the urban research and visual anthropology studio Analog Typologies, whose publications can be found in various cities across Mexico, the United States, India, Argentina, and Europe. In 2022, she was awarded the PECDA program by the Ministry of Culture for the publication of her first book: Remittance Architecture: The Transformation of a Mexican Town.
